As Clary Sage can make some people feel exceedingly woozy & faint, please avoid using whilst drinking alcohol, this can also lead to nausea. As it’s a sedative & can make concentration difficult, it’s advisable not to use before driving. Because of it’s hormonal effects avoid Clary Sage during pregnancy, unless under the direct supervision of a qualified professional aromatherapist. Due to it’s estrogen-like effect it may cause complications with conditions sensitive to estrogen, (Estrogen, or oestrogen, is the primary female sex hormone). Large doses can also produce headaches.
Please Note :
There are many cheap, synthetic copies of aromatic oils, but these are not recommended for therapeutic use. For best results purchase the highest quality oils you can possibly find. Use certified organic essential oils, or oils that have been tested & are pesticide free.
